The bag someone carries out of your shop tells them something about what they just bought. At Deli Paper, we manufacture luxury Paper bags that make customers feel like their purchase actually mattered. Whether you’re running a boutique, a café, or a restaurant, we know a cheap bag undermines everything else you do.
That’s why we’ve been making custom retail bags and hospitality packaging for independent businesses across the UK.
Why Standard Bags Cost You Brand Reputation
Thin plastic handles that dig into hands. Paper that tears after one trip to the car. No structure, so the bag flops around and your product looks damaged before it reaches home. That first impression of your business just got worse.
We hear this constantly from independent retailers: customers complain about bags during checkout. They ask if you have something better. Some actually refuse to take it.
What Actually Makes a Difference
What we actually manufacture:
- 350-400GSM thickness for durability and luxury feel
- Flat, block-bottom, or gusseted sides depending on what you need
- Twisted paper handles or flat handles
- Custom sizes available
- Matte, gloss, kraft, or natural finishes
- Reinforced base construction so the bag holds shape
- You start at 1,000 bags minimum. We turn printed orders around in 12 to 18 working days. That’s realistic stock for most independent retailers without forcing you into warehouse commitments.
How Branded Paper Bags Actually Change Customer Perception
Your logo on every bag that leaves your shop. Your colours. Your story. This is where hospitality packaging becomes marketing that people carry down the street.
Every owner tells us the same thing: people take photographs of well-designed bags. They post them on Instagram. They carry them around and you get visibility you didn’t pay for.
Printing costs are realistic too. Full colour on one or both sides. Single-colour if the budget’s tighter. We use food-safe, eco-friendly inks across all custom work. Your branding gets noticed because it’s done properly, not because it’s screaming for attention.
UK Standards and Actual Sustainability
At Deli Paper, each product is
- FSC-certified kraft sourced from responsibly managed forests
- 100% PFAS-free — no forever chemicals in manufacturing
- Fully compliant with UK packaging regulations and EPR schemes
- Compostable options available, performing identically to standard stock
- Break down properly at end of life, strengthening your sustainability credentials
Real Manufacturing Details
MOQ is 1,000 bags per design. That’s small enough to test new designs without massive commitment. Turnaround is 12 to 18 working days for printed stock, faster for plain bags.
We cut everything to your specification, so zero waste. Your sizes. Your handle type. You’re not paying for stuff you’ll never use.
Why Deli Paper is Different from Mass Suppliers
Big bag manufacturers treat you like a purchase order number. Minimum orders run into tens of thousands. Turnaround takes months. You’re locked into their standard sizes and limited design options.
We work differently because we understand what independent retailers actually need. You ring us. You tell us what you want. We listen properly, then we make it happen without the corporate runaround.
Your business deserves bags that match your quality and your values. Luxury paper bags that tell your story, not someone else’s template.
